Role Description The Assistant Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara, responsible for supporting sales growth across industrial and automotive product lines. This role involves managing existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and assisting in the execution of regional sales plans. The person in this position will coordinate with the sales team and distributors, prepare quotations, follow up on leads, and support negotiations to close orders. Day-to-day activities include monitoring sales performance, maintaining accurate records in CRM or sales reports, and preparing regular updates for senior management. The Assistant Sales Manager will also collaborate with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely deliveries, resolve customer issues, and uphold Aeroaids’ quality and service standards.
Qualifications
Strong skills in sales planning, account management, and relationship building within industrial or automotive markets.
Ability to perform market research, competitor analysis, and demand forecasting to support regional sales strategies.
Proficiency in communication, negotiation, and presentation, with the capacity to interact effectively with OEMs, vendors, and distributors.
Experience with basic CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and data-driven reporting for sales tracking and analysis.
Understanding of industrial coatings, automotive products, or related technical domains, with the ability to learn product features and applications quickly.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Proven experience in field sales or business development, preferably in manufacturing, industrial supplies, or automotive segments.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, meet targets, travel within the region as required, and maintain a professional, customer-focused approach.
