Role Description The Customer Service Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Navi Mumbai. The role involves handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing timely, accurate information about services and shipments. The Customer Service Executive will coordinate with operations and sales teams to ensure smooth order processing, documentation, and delivery follow-ups, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Daily tasks include managing customer communication via phone and email, updating systems and records, monitoring service performance, and escalating complex issues when necessary. The role also requires contributing to service improvement by capturing customer feedback and supporting customer service management initiatives.
Qualifications
Handle ocean shipment end-to-end
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive, professional relationships with customers and internal teams.
Experience in customer support and customer service, including handling inquiries, complaints, and service requests.
Ability to manage customer satisfaction through proactive communication, problem solving, and follow-up.
Exposure to customer service management practices, including service metrics, escalation procedures, and process improvements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional local language skills are an advantage.
Prior experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations is preferred.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with MS Office and customer service or CRM systems; ability to quickly learn new tools.
Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline.
