Role Purpose
The Deputy Director — Administration supports the Senior Director in ensuring the efficient functioning of the university’s campus administration systems, including security operations, transport services, facilities management, hospitality, housekeeping, and operational governance. The role is responsible for day-to-day operational coordination, monitoring service delivery standards, and ensuring adherence to institutional service level agreements (SLAs) across administrative verticals. Working closely with operational teams and service providers, the Deputy Director ensures that campus administration functions efficiently, safely, and in alignment with institutional policies and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Campus Operations Coordination: Support the Senior Director in managing campus administrative services, ensuring efficient coordination of transport, facilities, housekeeping, hospitality, and security operations.
2. Operational SLA Monitoring: Monitor performance of operational services against defined service level agreements, ensuring timely resolution of maintenance requests, operational issues, and service disruptions.
3. Security & Safety Support: Coordinate with security leadership to ensure effective functioning of campus safety systems, surveillance infrastructure, and incident response protocols.
4. Facilities & Infrastructure Support: Oversee coordination of maintenance activities, utilities management, and facility upkeep, ensuring minimal operational downtime and efficient service delivery.
5. Hospitality & Visitor Services: Support the management of institutional hospitality services and visitor coordination, ensuring professional handling of institutional guests and official visits.
6. Administrative Digitization & Process Improvement: Assist in the implementation of digitized workflows, operational dashboards, and process improvement initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and transparency in administrative operations.
Educational Qualification •
Master’s Degree in Management / Administration / Public Administration / related discipline from a recognized university.
• MBA or equivalent management qualification will be preferred.
• Minimum 18–20 years of experience in administration, facilities management, campus operations, or institutional services.
• Experience in large institutional campuses, universities, defense establishments, or government organizations will be preferred.
• Full-time campus-based administrative leadership role.
• Availability for operational coordination beyond standard working hours when required, particularly during institutional events or operational contingencies.
