Job Description:
We are looking for a Java speak Japanese Developer to join a global delivery team, working closely with Japanese stakeholders and project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java development, solid SQL knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively in Japanese for daily collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java technologies.
Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Collaborate with Japanese stakeholders, business users, and project teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance application performance.
Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
Support production incidents, system enhancements, and ongoing maintenance activities.
Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 3+ years of experience in Java application development
Strong hands-on experience with: o Java / Core Java o Spring Boot or similar Java frameworks o SQL and relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.)
Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Japanese communication skills at JLPT N3 or above, with the ability to communicate effectively with Japanese stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
