Account Manager

Nasons Industries LLP is looking for an experienced Accounts Manager to lead and head our Accounts Department.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and manage the accounts team — assign responsibilities, review work, and ensure timely closures
Set up and enforce internal controls, approval workflows, and user-access policies across accounting processes
Oversee day-to-day accounting: purchase, sales, bank, and journal entries
Ensure accurate books of accounts and timely monthly/quarterly/annual closing
Prepare and present MIS reports, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements to management
Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), TDS, and other statutory filings
Coordinate with auditors for statutory, tax, and internal audits; ensure audit compliance and timely closure of observations
Stay updated on changes in GST, Income Tax, and other applicable regulations
Oversee purchase order processing, vendor invoice booking, and reconciliation with GRNs/stock records
Manage sales invoicing, customer ledger reconciliation, and receivables follow-up
Coordinate with warehouse and sales teams to ensure accounting entries align with physical stock movement
Manage banking relationships, fund flow, and working capital requirements
Monitor payables and receivables to optimize cash flow
Handle budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Oversee vendor payment cycles and dispute resolution
Ensure accurate ledger reconciliations with vendors and customers
What we're looking for:
10+ years of experience in accounting/finance, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership/managerial role
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, accounting standards, and statutory compliance
Hands-on experience with accounting software (BUSY preferred); comfortable working with ERPs and approval workflows
Proven ability to manage a team and coordinate cross-functionally with sales, purchase, and warehouse departments
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
