Role Description
The Jewellery Insurance Claims Executive/Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for managing end-to-end insurance claims for jewellery businesses. The role involves handling claim intimation, collecting and verifying documents, checking jewellery invoices, stock records and valuation reports, reviewing policy coverage, and coordinating with insurers, surveyors, investigators, and clients until final settlement.
The candidate will also track claim status, follow up on pending documents and approvals, assist in claim calculations, maintain accurate claim records, and ensure timely resolution of client queries.
Key Responsibilities
Handle end-to-end jewellery insurance claims from intimation to settlement.
Verify jewellery invoices, stock registers, valuation reports, FIRs, and claim documents.
Check jewellery weight, purity, quantity, valuation, and declared values against policy records.
Review policy coverage, limits, deductibles, exclusions, and applicable conditions.
Coordinate with insurance companies, surveyors, investigators, jewellers, and clients.
Follow up on surveys, pending documents, queries, approvals, and claim settlements.
Assist in claim assessment and settlement calculations.
Maintain complete claim files, trackers, MIS, and documentation.
Communicate claim requirements and updates clearly to clients.
Support the team in identifying documentation gaps and improving the claims process.
