Role:
Intern- Microbiology/ Biotechnology
You will be part of our R&D team, contributing to impactful experiments and research efforts. This role offers hands on exposure to sustainable bioenergy development and a chance to contribute directly to innovation in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in analytical method development and HPLC-based compound analysis.
Conduct microbial characterisation, microbial cultivation, strain screening, and sample processing.
Prepare culture media, buffers, and support analytical workflows.
Carry out microbial characterisation, including morphological, biochemical, and electrochemical profiling.
Identify and troubleshoot experimental bottlenecks.
Propose and take ownership of mini-projects or innovations within the scope of ongoing work.
Maintain well-documented, organised lab notebooks and data records.
Participate in the design and setup of new experiments based on project needs.
What We're Looking For:
Background in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related life science disciplines.
Demonstrated troubleshooting ability and a solution oriented mindset.
Strong documentation habits and attention to detail.
Self motivated and proactive individuals who are eager to learn, contribute, and innovate.
Prior experience or academic exposure to Microbial Electrolysis Cells (MECs), chemical assays, or microbial characterisation is highly preferred.
