Role Description The English K-12 Faculty role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. This role involves planning and delivering engaging English lessons aligned with K-12 curriculum standards, including grammar, reading, writing, and literature. The faculty member will design and refine lesson plans, assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and support diverse learning needs. Responsibilities also include collaborating with academic teams on curriculum improvement, integrating technology and interactive methods into teaching, participating in training or workshops, and maintaining accurate academic records. The role requires a learner-centered approach, strong classroom management, and a commitment to Filo’s mission of accessible, high-quality education.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in English Teaching and Teaching, with experience instructing K-12 students.
Proficiency in Curriculum Development, including designing structured lesson plans and assessments.
Solid understanding of Literature and English Literature to teach prose, poetry, and literary analysis.
Excellent command of written and spoken English, with clear communication and presentation skills.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; formal teacher training or certification is an advantage.
Experience with classroom management, student assessment, and differentiated instruction for varied learning levels.
Comfort using digital tools and educational technology to enhance teaching and learning.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, demonstrate cultural sensitivity, and maintain an inclusive learning environment.
