Here's what you'll do during a typical day
As Sales Executive, you will analyse local market trends and competitor activity to generate new future business for the hotel. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Analyze local market trends, government activities, and competitor performance to identify new business opportunities
Develop and manage government and diplomatic accounts, building long-term relationships with embassies, consulates, and related organizations
Actively visit and engage with key contacts within government and diplomatic circles to drive business into the hotel/cluster and increase market share
Negotiate room rates, packages, and agreements with government entities and diplomatic missions
Prepare and manage contracts in line with Hilton’s business and pricing guidelines
Develop and implement targeted sales and marketing activities specific to the government and diplomatic segment
Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences tailored for diplomatic and government delegations
Represent the hotel at official functions, industry events, and diplomatic receptions as required
Produce accurate and timely reports for the Sales Director and senior management, including account updates, sales activities, and business leads
Respond promptly and professionally to all government and diplomatic client inquiries.
