Role Description As a Shopify Expert at The 21st Century Lifestyle, you will manage and optimize our Shopify-based e-commerce store on a day-to-day basis. This full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru involves configuring themes, customizing storefronts, and ensuring a smooth and secure shopping experience. You will handle product listings, collections, pricing updates, and site navigation, while monitoring performance metrics and resolving technical or user experience issues.
Collaboration with marketing, design, and operations teams will be essential to implement promotions, improve conversion rates, and maintain brand consistency across the site. You will also be responsible for testing new features, managing integrations and apps, and staying current with Shopify updates and best practices.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Shopify platform management, including theme configuration, app integrations, and store optimization.
Hands-on experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for Shopify theme customization.
Knowledge of e-commerce best practices, including conversion rate optimization, SEO fundamentals, and user experience design.
Ability to work with product data, including managing product catalogs, collections, inventory, and pricing with accuracy.
Comfort collaborating with cross-functional teams (marketing, design, operations) and translating business needs into technical solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data and analytics tools to identify issues and opportunities.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering reliable, user-friendly solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related discipline) or equivalent practical experience.
Previous experience in an e-commerce or retail environment and familiarity with payment gateways, shipping configurations, and security best practices is preferred.
