Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Bengaluru. The Interior Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing interior design schemes for residential and/or commercial projects, including space planning and layout optimization. Day-to-day tasks include preparing design presentations, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and producing or reviewing construction drawings in collaboration with architects and contractors.
The role involves conducting site visits, ensuring design intent is maintained during execution, and working closely with clients to understand requirements, present design options, and incorporate feedback. The Interior Designer is expected to manage project timelines, maintain documentation, and support a cohesive design process from concept to completion.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to develop functional and visually compelling layouts.
Knowledge of Architecture principles and understanding of how interiors integrate with building structure.
Proficiency in preparing and interpreting Construction Drawings for coordination with project teams.
Experience managing FF&E selection, specification, and coordination to align with design concepts and budgets.
Relevant academic background in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Ability to use design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to clients and stakeholders.
Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and readiness to handle multiple projects on-site in Bengaluru.
