Data Eminence is seeking a motivated .NET Developer to join our growing software development team. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and maintain applications using technologies such as C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework.
You will collaborate with frontend developers, software engineers, database teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to develop reliable and maintainable software solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience with the .NET ecosystem, REST APIs, databases, authentication, testing, and modern software development practices while working remotely.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Developing and maintaining applications using C# and .NET
Building backend services and REST APIs using ASP.NET Core
Writing clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code
Implementing application business logic based on technical requirements
Working with SQL Server and relational databases
Writing and optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures
Using Entity Framework Core for database integration
Integrating APIs with frontend applications and third-party services
Implementing authentication, authorization, and application security features
Debugging and resolving application errors and technical issues
Writing unit tests and supporting application testing
Using Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development
Participating in code reviews and following coding standards
Supporting application deployment and maintenance activities
Monitoring application performance and identifying optimization opportunities
Creating and maintaining technical documentation
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand and implement requirements
Staying updated with .NET technologies, development frameworks, and industry best practices

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
0-2 years of experience in .NET development or a relevant internship/project
Strong understanding of C# programming fundamentals
Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
Familiarity with .NET and ASP.NET Core
Basic understanding of REST API development
Familiarity with Entity Framework Core is a plus
Basic knowledge of SQL Server and relational databases
Understanding of Git and version control
Basic knowledge of software testing and debugging
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with LINQ is beneficial
Knowledge of dependency injection and middleware concepts is a plus
Familiarity with Docker or cloud platforms is beneficial
Understanding of authentication and authorization concepts is a plus
Experience with academic, personal, or open-source .NET projects is beneficial
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to write maintainable code
