Data Eminence is seeking a motivated Prompt Programmer to join our growing AI and technology team. In this role, you will design and refine prompts for generative AI systems and help develop reliable workflows for AI-powered applications and business processes.
You will collaborate with developers, researchers, product teams, content specialists, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective AI instructions. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience with prompt engineering, large language models, AI evaluation, structured outputs, automation, and modern AI development tools while working remotely.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Designing and developing prompts for large language models and generative AI systems
Creating structured instructions for different AI use cases and workflows
Testing prompts and evaluating AI-generated responses
Improving prompts to increase accuracy, consistency, relevance, and reliability
Experimenting with different prompting techniques and approaches
Creating reusable prompt templates and prompt libraries
Developing prompts for text generation, summarization, classification, extraction, and analysis
Working with structured outputs and JSON-based AI responses
Identifying failure cases, inconsistencies, and hallucinations in AI outputs
Creating evaluation criteria and test cases for AI-generated responses
Comparing model outputs and documenting performance results
Collaborating with developers to integrate prompts into AI-powered applications
Supporting AI automation and workflow development
Maintaining documentation for prompts, experiments, and evaluation results
Staying updated with new AI models, prompting techniques, and generative AI technologies
Using AI tools to research, experiment, prototype, and improve workflows

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Linguistics, or a related field
0-2 years of experience with AI tools, prompt engineering, software development, research, or relevant projects
Strong written communication and instruction-writing skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Understanding of generative AI and large language models
Familiarity with prompt engineering concepts and techniques
Ability to analyze and evaluate AI-generated outputs
Basic understanding of APIs and JSON is a plus
Familiarity with Python or JavaScript is beneficial
Understanding of structured data and logical workflows is a plus
Experience with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar AI tools is beneficial
Familiarity with AI evaluation, testing, or automation tools is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies in AI responses
Curiosity and willingness to experiment with emerging AI technologies
Good organizational and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote environment
