Senior Project Manager- Wind Projects Execution

JD : Project Manager – Wind Projects (IPP) – Mumbai

Qualification: Full-time B.Tech (Electrical / Mechanical / Civil)
Industry Preference: Renewable Energy (IPP preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
Proven track record of executing wind projects (at least 100 MW cumulative capacity), preferably for IPPs.
Define, plan, and execute the entire lifecycle of Wind Power Projects: pre-construction, construction, commissioning, and handover.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and cost estimates.
Lead and manage multidisciplinary site teams including civil, electrical, and WTG installation contractors.
Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and external vendors to resolve all project issues related to contracts, logistics, design, and execution.
Drive cross-functional discussions with regulatory bodies and local administration for smooth project implementation.
Ensure all HSE protocols are followed rigorously during construction and commissioning.
Conduct regular project review meetings and communicate effectively with senior management and internal stakeholders.
Track key project metrics and ensure that the project is delivered on time and within budget.
Manage project risks, escalate critical issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
Maintain all project documentation and ensure knowledge transfer across teams.
Key Skills & Attributes:
Experience in WTG installation, transmission line execution, and substation commissioning.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and drive results under pressure.
Knowledge of wind resource assessment, micrositing, and turbine technology is an advantage.
Excellent command over project management tools and reporting systems.
