About the Role
Institute of Banking (IOB) is looking for an energetic, confident, and target-oriented Business Development Associate to join our Business Development & Admissions team.
The role involves connecting with prospective students, providing career counselling, explaining IOB programs, managing follow-ups, and converting enquiries into admissions.
Key Responsibilities
* Connect with prospective students through calls, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
* Understand candidates’ career goals and educational background.
* Explain IOB courses, certifications, training programs, and placement opportunities.
* Provide effective career counselling and guide candidates toward suitable programs.
* Follow up with leads, callbacks, and prospective students.
* Convert qualified leads into confirmed admissions.
* Maintain accurate lead and follow-up records.
* Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly admission targets.
* Handle candidate objections and queries professionally.
* Coordinate with the academic and operations teams for smooth student onboarding.
* Maintain a positive relationship with students throughout the admission process.
Skills Required
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Good Hindi and English communication; Marathi is an advantage.
* Strong convincing, counselling, and negotiation skills.
* Excellent follow-up and relationship-building abilities.
* Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
* Ability to handle pressure and work in a performance-driven environment.
* Basic knowledge of CRM, MS Office, and Google Workspace.
Eligibility
* Graduate in any discipline.
* Freshers with good communication and interpersonal skills can apply.
* Experience in inside sales, education counselling, admissions, telecalling, EdTech, BFSI, or business development will be preferred.
