Role Description The Placement Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Nagpur, responsible for driving successful placements for students completing the Banking Program. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with hiring partners in the BFSI sector, identifying suitable job opportunities, and coordinating campus recruitment activities. The Placement Manager will support learners with career counseling, resume building, interview preparation, and tracking placement outcomes. Day-to-day tasks include engaging with employers to understand hiring needs, matching student profiles to open positions, organizing job fairs or recruitment drives, and maintaining accurate placement reports and dashboards. The role also requires close collaboration with training teams to align skill development with market demands and ensure students are job-ready.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with corporate hiring partners in the BFSI sector.
Candidates should possess excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to counsel students, conduct placement sessions, and represent the institute professionally.
Candidates should possess sound knowledge of banking and BFSI roles, recruitment processes, and current industry trends to guide learners toward suitable career opportunities.
Candidates should possess solid organizational and planning skills, including the ability to manage placement pipelines, coordinate events, and maintain accurate placement documentation and reports.
Candidates should possess strong problem-solving and negotiation skills to address placement challenges, align employer expectations with student capabilities, and secure favorable opportunities.
Relevant experience in placement coordination, career services, corporate training, or HR/recruitment, preferably in education, BFSI, or related sectors, is highly beneficial.
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Commerce, HR, or a related field is preferred; advanced certifications in banking or career counseling are an added advantage.
Comfort with MS Office tools, online recruitment platforms, and basic data analysis for placement tracking and reporting is expected.
