Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior SQL Analyst to join our data team. This role is ideal for candidates with 0 - 1 year of experience who are eager to work with databases, SQL queries, reporting, and data analysis while learning modern data practices.
What You’ll Do
Write SQL queries to extract, filter, and analyze data
Support data reporting and dashboard requirements
Assist in data cleaning, validation, and quality checks
Work with relational databases and structured datasets
Help identify trends, patterns, and data inconsistencies
Support recurring and ad-hoc data requests from teams
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business decisions
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field
0 - 1 year of experience in SQL, data analysis, reporting, or related role
Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
Basic understanding of joins, filters, aggregations, and data extraction
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or reporting tools
Ability to clean, validate, and organize data accurately
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote setup and manage multiple tasks
