About the Role
We are working with a fast growing technology company looking for a Senior Cloud & DevOps Engineer to help operate and evolve a large scale AWS platform.
This is a highly hands on infrastructure role supporting 40+ Amazon EKS clusters across 40+ AWS accounts, with the infrastructure estate managed primarily through Terraform. The person joining the team will take significant ownership of AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes operations, infrastructure automation, reliability, and production troubleshooting.
AWS and Terraform are central to the position. You will also serve as a senior technical resource for infrastructure changes, reviewing Terraform and AWS work from other engineers and helping ensure changes are safe, consistent, and production ready.
What You’ll Do
Operate, maintain, and scale a large fleet of Amazon EKS clusters across a multi account AWS environment
Build and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform and reusable infrastructure modules
Manage Terraform state and infrastructure changes safely across multiple environments and accounts
Review infrastructure changes and help establish best practices around AWS and Terraform
Build and improve CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins
Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and operational workflows
Own monitoring, alerting, observability, and production incident response
Troubleshoot AWS, Kubernetes, Linux, networking, DNS, load balancers, VPCs, and application infrastructure
Support cluster upgrades, capacity planning, cloud cost optimization, and platform reliability
Use Python and Bash to automate operational tasks and build internal tooling
What We’re Looking For
Strong hands on experience with AWS and Terraform is essential. You should be comfortable working independently in production AWS environments and managing infrastructure at scale.
Ideal experience includes Amazon EKS or Kubernetes administration, multi account AWS environments, reusable Terraform modules, remote state management, VPC networking, IAM, EC2, RDS, S3, load balancers, Route53, CI/CD pipelines, Linux, and production troubleshooting.
Experience with tools such as Ansible, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Datadog, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Helm, Python, and Bash is also valuable.
Experience
We are looking for someone with at least 3 to 5 years of hands on DevOps, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or SRE experience, with meaningful production experience using AWS and Terraform.
