Role Description The Senior Technical Architect – Payment Processing & CRM Integration Platform is a contract, remote role focused on designing and overseeing end-to-end technical solutions for payment processing and CRM integration platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining technical and solution architectures, creating integration patterns between payment gateways, CRM systems, and related applications, and guiding development teams on implementation best practices. The role involves collaborating with product owners, business analysts, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and compliant architectures. The architect will review technical designs, perform architecture assessments, and ensure adherence to enterprise standards, performance benchmarks, and security controls. This position also requires documenting architecture decisions, mentoring technical team members, and supporting troubleshooting for complex integration and platform issues.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Technical Architecture and Enterprise Architecture, with experience designing secure, scalable, and resilient platforms.
Candidates should possess skills in Solution Architecture and Integration, including API design, data mapping, and orchestration between payment systems and CRM platforms.
Candidates should possess experience in Software Development, including hands-on work with modern programming languages, frameworks, and integration tools.
Candidates should have experience with payment processing platforms, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar), and related compliance standards (such as PCI-DSS).
Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, clear technical communication skills, and the capacity to collaborate with cross-functional remote teams.
Experience with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP), microservices architecture, and event-driven systems is highly beneficial.
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
