About the Role
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to support cloud infrastructure operations, automation, CI/CD processes, monitoring, scripting, deployment reliability, and operational support across Microsoft cloud and business technology platforms.
The DevOps Engineer will work closely with IT and approved stakeholders to implement secure, repeatable, and well-documented technical solutions that improve system reliability, delivery speed, governance, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
Experience supporting cloud infrastructure, DevOps automation, CI/CD pipelines, scripting, monitoring, release processes, or production operations.
Working knowledge of Microsoft cloud and business platforms such as Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and SharePoint, or similar technologies.
Experience with PowerShell or similar scripting tools.
Working knowledge of source control, deployment processes, and CI/CD practices.
Experience with troubleshooting, monitoring, incident support, and production operations.
Understanding of secure access practices, identity management, least-privilege principles, and cloud security.
Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
Ability to work with structured technical requirements and collaborate effectively with IT and development teams.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage operational priorities in a fast-paced technical environment.
Responsibilities
Cloud Operations, Automation, and Platform Reliability
Support Azure, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, endpoint management, identity, and related cloud platform operations.
Develop and maintain automation scripts, configuration routines, deployment processes, monitoring checks, operational runbooks, and repeatable support procedures.
Monitor platform performance and reliability and assist with proactive identification and remediation of operational issues.
Identify opportunities to reduce manual processes, improve standardization, and increase operational efficiency.
Deployment, Release Support, and Infrastructure Delivery
Support build, deployment, and release processes for internal applications, integrations, scripts, reporting solutions, and cloud-hosted workloads.
Assist with infrastructure-as-code, environment configuration, pipeline execution, access-controlled deployments, and change validation.
Support rollback planning and recovery procedures where applicable.
Work with IT and development teams to improve deployment consistency, environment readiness, change documentation, and operational handoff.
Assist with production readiness activities and ensure deployments follow established technical and operational standards.
Security, Governance, Documentation, and Operational Support
Follow secure operations practices, including least-privilege access and appropriate credential management.
Avoid hard-coded credentials and operate within approved identity, security, compliance, and access-control requirements.
Participate in monitoring, alert triage, issue remediation, incident follow-up, patching support, and platform health checks.
Assist with production support and investigate technical issues affecting cloud platforms, applications, integrations, and related services.
Document configuration decisions, dependencies, runbooks, support procedures, status updates, blockers, risks, and acceptance criteria.
Follow established IT governance, change management, security, and documentation standards.
