Title: Copywriter & Conceptualiser – MARCOM (Manager)
Location: Bangalore
Experience Required: 5–7 years in copywriting, conceptualization, and marketing communication
Purpose of the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and highly imaginative Copywriter & Conceptualiser who can drive creative thinking across marketing communication, brand experiences, and event-led storytelling.
This is a mid-senior role requiring strong ownership, the ability to lead creative thinking, and the maturity to translate business objectives into compelling concepts, narratives, and content.
The ideal candidate brings strategic thinking, strong presentation ability, and the creative agility to craft ideas, scripts, messaging frameworks, and multi-format content. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, collaborate well with cross-functional teams, and enjoy taking ideas from concept to execution, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Concept Development & Strategic Thinking:
Lead conceptualization for events, brand experiences, and integrated campaigns.
Develop overarching event themes, storylines, messaging frameworks, and communication narratives.
Create concept decks, storyboards, and narrative flows independently.
Translate client briefs into sharply structured creative ideas and presentations.
High-Level Content Creation:
Write compelling long-form and short-form content across formats—AV scripts, keynote flows, event narratives, emailers, branding content, social media, films, talking points, and emcee scripts.
Ensure all content ladders up to brand strategy and campaign goals.
Build content structures that guide designers, filmmakers, and production teams.
Brand Understanding & Research:
Conduct deep research on industry, audience, and brand positioning.
Adapt tone, language, and concepts to fit diverse cross-industry clients.
Provide visual and conceptual mood boards to help shape holistic creative direction.
Creative Leadership & Collaboration:
Work closely with designers, video creators, animators, and project managers to bring integrated ideas to life.
Provide guidance to junior writers and interns wherever necessary.
Support the pitch team with creative direction and idea building.
Client Interactions & Presentations:
Participate in client meetings to understand briefs, present ideas, and articulate creative rationale confidently.
Gather feedback and translate it into clear, actionable creative improvements.
Execution Ownership:
Manage timelines for writing, approvals, and delivery of all creative outputs.
Take complete ownership of quality control—proofreading, structure, messaging, and consistency.
Adapt quickly to changes in event schedules, creative direction, or campaign needs.
Post-Project Evaluation & Improvement:
Contribute to post-event or post-campaign reviews.
Identify learnings and recommend creative improvements for future projects.
Skills, Education & Who You Are:
5–7 years of copywriting, creative conceptualization, or marketing communication experience.
Strong creative writing skills across formats—AVs, scripts, events, social, digital.
Deep understanding of marketing communication and brand-led storytelling.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, etc.).
Ability to structure ideas into sharp, visually supported concept presentations.
Strong command over English, with an eye for detail and narrative quality.
Basic understanding of film/scriptwriting is an added advantage.
Ideally a degree in Mass Communication, English Literature, Journalism, Advertising, or related fields.
Highly proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of owning the creative output end-to-end.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple simultaneous projects.
