Role Description The Investment Banking Intern role at Grade Learner Academy is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida.
The intern will primarily be responsible for designing, developing, and managing practical investment banking and finance projects for learners enrolled in the academy’s programs. The role involves creating industry-relevant project assignments that help learners understand real-world investment banking processes and apply concepts such as financial modeling, valuation, company analysis, industry research, and due diligence.
The intern will work closely with senior mentors and academic teams to develop learner projects, case studies, financial models, presentations, research reports, and transaction-based assignments. The intern will also assist in reviewing learner submissions, providing project-level guidance, and ensuring that projects meet professional industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop practical Investment Banking and Finance projects for learners.
- Create financial modeling, valuation, equity research, M&A, and due diligence-based assignments.
- Prepare realistic business cases and transaction simulations for learner training.
- Build Excel-based financial models, forecasting templates, valuation models, and scenario analysis exercises.
- Conduct company, sector, and industry research to create relevant project content.
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations, research reports, and supporting project documentation.
- Guide learners in understanding project requirements and applying investment banking concepts.
- Review learner projects and provide constructive feedback under the guidance of senior mentors.
- Continuously update projects based on current market practices and industry requirements.
- Collaborate with trainers and academic teams to ensure projects are practical, structured, and career-oriented.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Commerce, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Financial Markets, or Investments.
- Good knowledge of Financial Modeling, Valuation, Company Analysis, and Due Diligence.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic knowledge of PowerPoint.
- Ability to conduct company and industry research using publicly available information.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to create structured, professional-quality projects.
- Interest in developing practical learning content and working with students/learners.
- Curiosity, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently as well as with a team.
Preferred Skills
Candidates with exposure to DCF Valuation, Comparable Company Analysis, M&A Modelling, Financial Statement Analysis, Equity Research, Investment Research, or Transaction Advisory will be preferred.
