Role Description The Investment Banking Trainer will deliver structured, industry-relevant training to learners in investment banking concepts, tools, and practices in a full-time, on-site role based in Noida. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and updating curriculum content, preparing training materials, and conducting interactive classroom sessions, workshops, and case-study discussions. The trainer will guide learners through financial modeling, valuation techniques, transaction analysis, and deal structuring, while integrating real-world projects and current market trends. The role involves assessing learner performance, providing constructive feedback, mentoring learners on career readiness, and collaborating with the academic team to continuously improve program quality. The trainer is also expected to support placement efforts by aligning training outcomes with hiring partner expectations and helping learners prepare for interviews and assessments.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in investment banking, including financial modeling, valuation, capital markets, M&A, and transaction advisory.
Proficiency with financial analysis tools and software such as Excel (advanced functions), PowerPoint, and commonly used data and research platforms.
Demonstrated experience in teaching, corporate training, or mentoring in finance or investment banking, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse learner groups and encourage participation.
Ability to design and structure course content, case studies, and assessments that reflect current industry practices and hiring expectations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on practical application and outcome-oriented learning.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; CFA, CA, MBA, or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
Comfort working in a collaborative, on-site academic environment in Noida, with a learner-centric and inclusive approach.
