Team Leader

Role Description The Team Leader role is a full-time, on-site position based in Thane. The Team Leader will oversee a team of advisors or executives, allocate work, and monitor daily performance to meet sales and service targets. Responsibilities include guiding team members on client interactions, ensuring accurate documentation, resolving escalated customer issues, and coordinating with internal departments for smooth operations. The role involves tracking key metrics, preparing periodic reports, conducting team meetings and training sessions, and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Team Leader is expected to foster a positive, performance-oriented culture and support continuous improvement in processes and client experience.
Qualifications
Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team supervision, performance management, and mentoring.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and handle escalations effectively.
Experience in Health insurance, banking, financial services, or related corporate domains is highly beneficial.
Solid organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
Comfort with basic office software and CRM or policy management systems; willingness to learn new tools.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred; relevant work experience may be considered in place of formal education.
Proven ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, meet targets, and adhere to regulatory and company guidelines.
