The beautiful Hilton Irvine Orange County Airport is ideally located just minutes from Newport Beach, South Coast Plaza, and Irvine Spectrum. This Hilton corporate-managed hotel features 306 guest rooms and 25,274 square feet of meeting and event space, making it an exciting destination for both corporate and social gatherings.
Due to an internal relocation, the property is seeking an experienced Catering Manager to join its team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of local catering business, build strong client relationships, and sell and service a diverse range of corporate and social events at a premier Orange County property.
Full Time on Property based role - Flexible scheduling based on client/events
Hourly Pay: $26-75-$33.44 per/hour based on experience plus opportunity for quarterly bonus incentive

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
Grow catering market segments: Solicit new client relationships, develop proposals, and negotiate contracts to close new business
Cultivate client relationships: Maintain strong connections with existing corporate and social accounts to secure repeat business
Create exceptional experiences: Design creative menus and catered events that maximize revenue and elevate the guest experience
Oversee event coordination: Manage event documentation, facilitate seamless transitions throughout the pre-event, event, and post-event phases of events, and serve as the primary client contact to ensure smooth execution, proactive issue resolution, and an exceptional event experience
Guide team performance: Communicate client requirements, provide direction, and offer feedback and coaching to ensure consistent, high-level service
