Overview
We’re partnering with a leading digital transformation consultancy to bring on a Freelance Product Manager with deep experience in Asset Management. This role will sit at the intersection of business strategy, technology, and user experience—helping shape and deliver innovative platform solutions for private equity clients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end product lifecycle for private equity platform initiatives—from discovery through delivery
Partner with stakeholders (investment teams, operations, technology) to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap
Translate complex business requirements into clear product specs, user stories, and prioritized backlogs
Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and data teams to deliver scalable, user-centric solutions
Drive agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives) and ensure timely delivery
Analyze platform performance and user feedback to inform continuous improvements
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
Qualifications
2+ years of Product Management experience, ideally within financial services or private equity environments
Experience working on data-heavy platforms, dashboards, or enterprise systems
Proven ability to work within digital transformation or consulting environments
Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have
Experience with portfolio management systems or investment platforms
Familiarity with data tools (SQL, BI tools, dashboards)
Background working with consulting firms or enterprise clients
Exposure to cloud-based platforms or modern data architectures
