Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to support data strategy and analytical projects. The successful candidate will work with complex datasets to develop data products, dashboards, reports, KPIs, and actionable business insights.
This role involves data analysis, data modelling, statistical analysis, data quality, data governance, business analysis, and data visualization. The candidate will work with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective BI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver business intelligence solutions for internal and external stakeholders.
Design and develop data products using various data sources.
Analyze data and prepare meaningful insights and results.
Gather and document business and analytical requirements.
Create dashboards, reports, KPIs, and custom visualizations.
Perform data quality reviews, statistical analysis, data mining, and trend analysis.
Develop data models and analytical products.
Capture business and technical metadata.
Support forecasting, predictive analytics, and strategic planning.
Combine quantitative and qualitative data to support decision-making.
Present data-driven insights to executives and business users.
Identify and escalate project issues and risks.
Work effectively in a multi-vendor and multi-stakeholder environment.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; equivalent education may be considered.
5+ years of hands-on experience developing and optimizing advanced Power BI solutions.
Strong experience with Power BI visualizations, dashboards, data storytelling, and executive reporting.
Experience analyzing large and complex datasets for trend analysis, predictive analytics, and forecasting.
Strong knowledge of DAX, including complex measures, calculated columns, and advanced time intelligence.
Experience with SQL for data querying, transformation, and analytical processing.
Experience gathering and translating business requirements into end-to-end BI solutions.
Experience combining data from multiple sources and domains.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working with large government or regulated datasets.
Experience preparing analytical models, dashboards, and visualizations.
