Title: Revenue Accounting Manager III
Location: Remote as long as they can support PST hours
Duration: 2 Months (Possible Extension)
Project Description:
Support the modernization and standardization of client's global revenue accounting policies. This includes consolidating and rewriting existing policies to document complex accounting conclusions, while incorporating operational guidance that improves usability and scalability. Additionally, we will establish a formal reserve policy across client's growing B2B businesses. The final deliverables will serve as client's authoritative accounting guidance and must be prepared to withstand external auditor review.
Key Requirements:
Experience: 8+ years of technical accounting experience with significant expertise in ASC 606
Skills: Demonstrated experience authoring accounting policies for complex revenue arrangements and highly judgmental areas, combined with excellent technical writing skills.
Operational Mindset: Strong understanding of how accounting policy translates into operational processes, controls, and day-to-day execution.
Independence: Proven ability to independently manage projects, work through ambiguity, and deliver high-quality work with minimal oversight.
Key Deliverables Consolidated, rewritten suite of authoritative global revenue accounting policies. Formal reserve policy covering client's B2B businesses. Operational guidance embedded within policies to support scalable, day-to-day execution. Documentation prepared to withstand external auditor review.

Big Four Public Accounting: Background in audit or technical accounting advisory at a major firm.
External Audit Management: Directly supporting and defending technical accounting positions to external auditors.
