Role Description The Vacation Planner is a full-time remote role responsible for designing and coordinating personalized vacations for a wide range of clients. Day-to-day work includes consulting with clients to understand their preferences and budget, researching destinations and packages, and arranging transportation, accommodations, and activities. The role involves creating detailed itineraries, managing reservations and changes, and ensuring a smooth travel experience before, during, and after the trip. The Vacation Planner responds to client inquiries, provides destination guidance, and delivers high-quality customer service across phone, email, and digital channels. This position may also support training activities for new team members and assist interested clients in exploring opportunities to start their own travel businesses.
Qualifications
Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and client communication, with the ability to build trusted relationships.
Hands-on experience with Travel Arrangements such as booking flights, accommodations, ground transport, and activities.
Knowledge of leisure travel offerings, including Disney and other family-oriented destinations, resorts, and theme parks.
Ability to support Training efforts for new team members or partners, sharing best practices and travel planning processes.
Familiarity with Business Travel needs, including itinerary management, schedule coordination, and policy compliance.
Comfort working remotely with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
Proficiency with online booking tools, CRM systems, and general office software; willingness to learn new platforms as needed.
Prior experience in travel planning, hospitality, or tourism is preferred; relevant certifications or industry training are an advantage.
