JOB TITLE - HVAC ESTIMATOR
JOB TYPE - FULL TIME
WORK SCHEDULE - 9AM - 5PM AEST, 45 MINUTES BREAK

OVERVIEW:
As an HVAC Estimator, you'll be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for complex commercial mechanical projects. You'll work closely with our design, project management, and construction teams to deliver innovative HVAC solutions for some of Australia's most technically challenging environments.
Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for mechanical HVAC projects
Review tender documentation, specifications, and drawings to identify project scope and requirements
Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and manufacturers to obtain competitive pricing
Participate in tender reviews, handovers, and value engineering workshops
Support the estimating team with technical advice and commercial insights
Maintain accurate records and databases of pricing, materials, and labour costs
Must-Have Skills
Minimum 5 years' experience in HVAC estimating
Proven track record working on Tier 1 or Tier 2 commercial projects
Experience across multiple sectors including hospitals, fit outs, retail, and industrial facilities
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, equipment, and installation methodologies
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Trade background or tertiary qualifications in mechanical engineering/building services (preferred)
Well-spoken English
Good communication skills to call suppliers when needed.
