Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Ethernet Drivers Developer located in Bengaluru South. The developer will design, implement, and optimize Ethernet drivers in Embedded C for embedded platforms, ensuring reliable performance and compliance with hardware and protocol specifications. Day-to-day activities include analyzing requirements, writing efficient and maintainable code, integrating drivers with embedded operating systems, and debugging issues at the driver and hardware interface level. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams such as hardware, firmware, and validation engineers to support bring-up, testing, and performance tuning. The developer will also participate in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement of driver architecture and development processes.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Embedded C programming and low-level driver development for Ethernet and networking interfaces.
Experience with embedded systems, RTOS or Linux kernel driver development, and hardware–software integration.
Solid understanding of Ethernet protocols, networking stacks, and debugging tools such as logic analyzers and protocol analyzers.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with cross-functional engineering teams and stakeholders.
Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to understand system requirements and support internal and external partners.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
3–6 years of relevant industry experience in embedded software or Ethernet driver development.
Experience with version control systems, build tools, and CI/CD frameworks for embedded software is an advantage.
Familiarity with ASIC or SoC environments, board bring-up, and post-silicon validation is a plus.
