Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South for a Python Automation Framework Developer with an embedded background and a minimum of 4 years of experience. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Python-based automation frameworks to support validation, testing, and continuous integration of embedded systems and semiconductor solutions. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to understand requirements, automate critical workflows, and improve test coverage and reliability. Daily responsibilities include writing clean and scalable Python code, integrating automation tools with hardware and software environments, troubleshooting automation issues, and optimizing scripts for performance and robustness. The role also includes contributing to documentation, adhering to quality standards, and supporting ongoing process improvements in the engineering ecosystem.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Software Development and Programming, with hands-on experience in Python and embedded systems.
Proficiency in Automation and Process Automation for test, validation, and engineering workflows.
Experience in Quality Assurance practices, including automated testing, defect tracking, and adherence to coding standards.
Solid understanding of embedded software concepts, hardware–software integration, and scripting for lab equipment or test benches.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) is highly beneficial.
Familiarity with semiconductor or ASIC development flows, and prior work in validation or post-silicon environments is a plus.
Effective communication skills, ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, and a structured approach to problem-solving.
