Role Description Design Head – MEP | Pharma & Cleanroom Projects
DPR is looking for an experienced Design Head – MEP to lead MEP design and engineering for Pharma/Cleanroom, Industrial, Commercial, Residential and PEB turnkey projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end MEP design & engineering from concept/DBR to detailed engineering, IFC drawings and construction support.
• Design/review cleanroom zoning, pressure cascades, ACH, temperature & RH control, HEPA filtration, AHUs, airflow distribution, cooling loads, ducting, exhaust and BMS/EMS controls.
• Strong understanding of GMP/cGMP, ISO 14644, ASHRAE, NBC, NFPA and applicable IS codes/standards.
• Sound MEP design knowledge for commercial, residential, industrial and PEB projects.
• Review/approve calculations, layouts, schematics, equipment selections, specifications, BOQs, tender/IFC drawings and vendor technical submissions.
• Coordinate with Architecture, Structure, Process, Projects, Procurement, Estimation, Consultants, Clients and Vendors.
• Drive value engineering and cost optimization without compromising GMP, safety, performance or quality.
• Provide technical support during execution, testing, commissioning and cleanroom qualification.
• Candidate Profile
• Proficiency/working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP/BIM, HAP or equivalent HVAC design tools.
• Strong leadership, client coordination, technical review and problem-solving capabilities.
