About Legodesk
Legodesk is a legal-tech SaaS platform built for banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions. We automate legal notices, communication, case management, payment recovery, and compliance across large lending portfolios.
We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer who can own feature delivery end-to-end and also act as a technical mentor to our existing engineering team.
What You'll Do
Own features end-to-end, from understanding the requirements and database design to Java/Spring Boot, React, deployment, and production support.
Build and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and frontend workflows.
Work across MongoDB, MySQL, Docker, and AWS.
Debug and resolve production issues and improve system performance and reliability.
Work closely with the CTO and product team to convert business problems into technical solutions.
Review code and provide technical guidance to 2-3 junior/mid-level developers.
Help the team with architecture, debugging, coding practices, and technical decisions.
Stay hands-on with development. This is not a people-management or task-assignment role.
Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and GitHub Copilot to improve development speed while taking full ownership of the code.
Must Have
3-6 years of strong product development experience.
Strong Java and Spring Boot experience.
Good understanding of REST APIs, microservices and asynchronous processing.
Strong React.js experience.
Hands-on experience with MongoDB and MySQL.
Experience with Docker and AWS.
Experience debugging and supporting production applications.
Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset.
Ability to independently take a feature from idea to production.
Good to Have
Flutter / mobile application development.
AWS SQS, SNS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch or similar services.
Redis / caching and message-driven systems.
Document and PDF generation.
Spring Cloud / Spring Cloud Config.
Fintech, lending, legal-tech, or enterprise SaaS experience.
Experience using Claude Code, Codex, or Copilot effectively.
What We're Looking For
Someone who is still hands-on and likes building, but is experienced enough to raise the technical quality of the team around them.
You should be comfortable saying:
"I'll take ownership of this feature, design it, build it, deploy it, and support it in production."
At the same time, when another developer is stuck, you should be able to help them understand the problem, review their approach, and guide them towards a better solution.
