Role Description The Software Tester at TestKase will perform day-to-day functional, regression, and exploratory testing on web and mobile applications using real devices and browser environments. Responsibilities include designing and executing test cases, documenting defects, validating fixes, and collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to ensure high-quality releases. The role involves working with TestKase’s AI-driven test management platform, reviewing auto-generated test cases, and contributing feedback to improve testing workflows and tooling. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India, requiring regular coordination with cross-functional teams and participation in sprint ceremonies.
Qualifications
Experinece 1-4 years in Software Testing
Candidates should possess strong Software Testing and Quality Assurance skills, including understanding of testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
Candidates should possess Test Execution and Test Case design skills, including writing clear steps, expected results, and coverage for edge cases.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret test results, identify root causes, and prioritize issues based on impact and risk.
Experience with web and mobile application testing, including use of real devices, emulators, or browser-based testing tools, is beneficial.
Familiarity with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Appium) and CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
Comfort working with AI-assisted tools for test generation and management is preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced product environment are required.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is desirable.
