Senior Golang Engineer

We are currently looking for a Senior Golang Engineer to join a US-based experience design and implementation company. The company delivers both traditional offline and digital experiences across various sectors, with a particular focus on large-scale events in sports, education, and philanthropy.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and services using Go.
Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable production-quality code.
Design and implement backend solutions based on business and technical requirements.
Build and integrate APIs and backend services.
Troubleshoot, optimise, and improve existing applications and services.
Work effectively in an Agile and collaborative development environment.
Requirements:
Strong commercial experience with Go/Golang.
Senior-level experience in backend software development.
Strong understanding of software architecture and backend development principles.
Experience designing and developing APIs and backend services.
Good understanding of databases and data modelling.
Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Good English communication skills.
Nice to have:
Experience building high-scale or distributed systems.
Experience with cloud platforms and cloud-native technologies.
Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
