Data Analyst

Responsibilities:
Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports.
Develop and implement a reporting infrastructure, interactive dashboards, and other analytical tools to provide insight into the data.
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and highlight any issues in the existing databases/data systems.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Develop regression and forecasting models using historical data to predict the future performance of the portfolio.
Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or master's degree in statistics/mathematics/engineering.
2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
Technical experience in data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
Strong knowledge of and experience with Excel, SQL, Python, and dashboarding tools such as Metabase, Tableau, etc.
Develop regression and forecasting models using historical data to predict future performance of the portfolio.
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing and visualizing datasets (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, Seaborn).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Keen interest in solving problems using data and providing a new perspective to stakeholders.
Knowledge about the practices and procedures in the US unsecured lending industry.
Experience in supervised and unsupervised model development.
