Senior Software Business Analyst (SaaS, AI)

What does it mean to you? This is not a traditional BA role. You will sit at the intersection of product strategy, deep technical understanding, and customer value — helping shape what KYP.ai builds next and why. Reporting to the Head of Product, you will become the internal authority on three interlocking domains:
Technical BA Craft: Read architecture, speak with engineers as a peer, spec what hasn't been built before
Business Context: Understand customer pain deeply enough to articulate "why this matters" — not just "what it does"
Deep Product Mastery: Become the internal expert on how KYP.ai works end-to-end — your opinion changes roadmap decisions
What can you do with us?
Translate business needs into implementable features while carefully evaluating risks and opportunities;
Conduct thorough competitive analysis and proactively identify opportunities for new functionalities, ensuring our product stands out in the productivity mining area;
Create Epics, User Stories, and Use Cases based on selected document structure (including Acceptance Criteria);
Contribute to the backlog planning and prioritization of tasks;
Work closely with the CTO, other BAs, Development and Customer Success teams
What should you bring to KYP.ai?
5+ years as a BA on genuinely complex SaaS, data, or enterprise platforms — not CRUD apps
Comfortable reading technical architecture and talking to engineers without a translator
Experience or strong interest in process mining, task mining, or automation intelligence
Skilled in Epics, User Stories, BPMN/UML — and knows when to skip the template and just think
Intellectually restless: you get frustrated when you don't understand something deeply enough
Holds opinions, changes them when the evidence is better, and is precise about both
