About the role
We are looking for an Analyst – Data & Insights who is strong with data, curious about business problems, and enjoys figuring out how things work. You will work closely with our Insights team to analyse large datasets, build analytical solutions, automate repetitive workflows, and generate actionable insights for brands. This is not a pure reporting role. We are looking for someone who can go beyond "what does the data show?" and understand "why is this happening?" The role will also provide a pathway to transition into an Insights Consultant, with increasing ownership of problem-solving and stakeholder interactions.
What You'll Do
● Analyse large datasets using SQL to answer business and analytical questions.
● Write complex SQL queries involving joins, CTEs, aggregations, window functions and subqueries.
● Use Python/scripting to automate repetitive analysis and improve analytical workflows.
● Perform exploratory analysis and identify trends, anomalies, opportunities and root causes.
● Work with data across digital commerce platforms, brands, products, categories and markets.
● Convert business questions into structured analytical approaches.
● Support the Insights team in building reports, analyses and recommendations.
● Validate data and ensure analytical outputs are accurate and reliable.
● Identify opportunities to automate manual analysis and make insights more scalable.
● Present findings clearly to internal stakeholders and progressively take ownership of business problems.
What We're Looking For
Technical
● Strong SQL skills
● Good understanding of data analysis and data structures
● Hands-on experience with Python or scripting/automation
● Strong quantitative and problem-solving ability.
● Ability to independently work with large datasets.
Business & Analytical
● Strong business acumen and curiosity
● Ability to break an ambiguous problem into smaller, structured questions
● Strong attention to detail
● Ability to connect data points to business implications
● Good written and verbal communication
Eligibility
● Graduate from an IIT with a strong academic record and a solid foundation in analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
● 1–3 years of experience in analytics, data science, business intelligence, consulting, product analytics or similar roles.
