About the Role
In this role you will be responsible for driving sales growth across Baden-Württemberg and Switzerland by managing an established customer portfolio while identifying and developing new business opportunities.
Working remotely from Germany, you will build long-term customer relationships, promote advanced motion control solutions, and collaborate closely with application engineering and sales operations teams to support customers throughout the sales process.
The position involves regular customer visits and travel throughout the assigned territory.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a regional business plan focused on sustainable sales growth.
Manage and strengthen relationships with existing customers through regular visits and ongoing account management.
Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
Handle incoming sales leads and convert opportunities into new business.
Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities within the CRM system.
Prepare reliable annual sales forecasts and take ownership of achieving regional sales objectives.
Follow up on customer quotations, proposals, and purchase orders.
Collaborate with the European sales team and application engineers to support customer projects.
Represent the company at customer meetings and selected industry exhibitions.
Requirements:
MUST: minimum 2 years of experience in B2B technical sales within motion control, servo systems, drives, or industrial automation
MUST: Experience managing both business development activities and existing customer accounts.
MUST: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Strong understanding of motion control, servo technology, industrial automation, or related electromechanical systems.
Technical knowledge of mechatronics, electrical engineering, automation systems, or industrial software.
Experience working with CRM systems for opportunity management, forecasting, and customer activity tracking.
MUST: Professional proficiency in both German and English.
MUST: Willingness to travel approximately 50%–60% throughout the assigned territory.
MUST: Based in Germany, ideally in the Baden-Württemberg region.
