Our client is a forward-thinking global digital marketing agency, specializing in mobile app performance. As they grow, the focus is to expand their expertise as a comprehensive media agency.
We are looking for a hands-on Business Development Representative to grow our paid social agency business. A professional with a genuine drive and passion to succeed, with a proven track record of new business generation.
Your primary responsibility will be to find and open new advertiser relationships: identifying companies that could benefit from our paid social expertise, engaging the right marketing decision-makers, starting relevant conversations and converting them into qualified opportunities.
Success in this role starts with opening doors, generating qualified conversations and creating a strong pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify advertisers that could be a strong fit for our paid social services.
Build target-account and decision-maker lists from scratch.
Research companies, their acquisition strategy and potential paid-social opportunities.
Prospect through LinkedIn, email and other relevant channels.
Build and test outbound sequences and personalized messaging.
Generate qualified conversations and meetings with marketing and growth decision-makers.
Understand the prospect's current paid-media setup, challenges, objectives and commercial potential.
Qualify opportunities based on factors such as need, budget, decision process and timing.
Introduce our paid social proposition clearly and commercially.
Bring paid-social specialists into deeper conversations once an opportunity is qualified.
Test different verticals, target audiences and messages.
Use HubSpot and modern prospecting tools to organize and scale outbound activity.
Attend industry events with a business-development mindset: research targets beforehand, arrange meetings, approach relevant prospects and create follow-up opportunities.
Feed market insights back into the company so we can continuously refine our positioning and proposition.
Requirements:
MUST: 2–4 years in a new-business/opening role at a marketing/advertising agency, in paid-media or ad-tech sales (where the customer is the advertiser/marketing team), or in a commercial role selling a service (not only a product/SaaS subscription) directly to brands.
MUST: Hands-on HubSpot experience.
MUST: Comfort using AI tools to build pipeline and generate leads.
MUST: Fluent in English.
Preferred: Familiarity with the language of paid acquisition — CPA, CAC, ROAS, LTV, creative performance, attribution, campaign scaling, audience targeting and channel diversification.
Strongly Preferred: Experience with Meta, TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest, Spotify, and other relevant social platforms.
Strongly Preferred: Prior agency background.
