Japanese User Research Moderator-Tourism

We are currently looking for Japanese translators with proven interview experience to join a project in the tourism area.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one or focus-group user interviews (online) based on the interview guides provided by the project team.
- Follow the designated outline to ask questions and effectively moderate the sessions, ensuring the quality and completeness of the information gathered.
- Prepare and deliver post-interview summary reports in English.
- Collaborate with the project team on content reviews and translation coordination as needed.
Requirements
l Japanese speaker
l Possess working-level English communication skills (including reading and writing), used for interfacing with the English-speaking team of the project team.
l Possess at least 2 years of experience in leading user interviews/market research, with a background in user research projects preferred
l Familiar with the execution of interview outlines, questioning techniques, and objective recording;
l Ability to write interview summaries (with clear structure, complete information, and elimination of subjective biases);
l Ability to use online interview tools (such as Zoom / Teams, etc.).
l Able to undertake ≥ 6 interviews per month (subject to change based on demand, with priority given to long-term cooperation);
l Prompt response to contract fulfilment and ability to accommodate urgent additional orders;
l Strong willingness for long-term cooperation.
