Role Description The Assistant Manager Finance is a full-time, on-site role based in Pathanamthitta. This position supports the finance function through daily accounting operations, including managing ledgers, monitoring cash flow, tracking expenses, and ensuring accurate financial records. The role involves preparing financial reports, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and supporting audit and compliance activities in line with regulatory and organizational requirements. The Assistant Manager Finance collaborates with clinical and administrative teams to validate financial data, oversee billing and collections, and help optimize cost control and revenue management. The role also contributes to improving financial processes, implementing internal controls, and supporting management with timely financial insights for decision-making.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and basic taxation relevant to healthcare or service industries.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support operational and strategic decisions.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, along with advanced skills in spreadsheets and financial documentation.
Ability to ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and audit requirements.
Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills for managing multiple financial tasks.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clinical, administrative, and management teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA, MBA Finance) are an advantage.
Prior experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare finance environment is preferred but not mandatory.
