Deputy Manager -Finance (R2R)

We are looking for a Deputy Manager to lead our Record to Report (R2R) team in Pune. In this role, you will balance operational F&A excellence with people leadership. While you will manage a team and ensure all monthly KPIs and SLAs are consistently met, you will also act as a key individual contributor—driving process improvements, mitigating risks, and partnering closely with global clients.
Key Responsibilities
Team & Performance Management: Direct, mentor, and coach team members. Conduct monthly performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and drive engagement to achieve collective goals.
Core Accounting Ops: Oversee general accounting functions, including General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets, Month-End Close, and VAT/GST reporting.
SLA & Quality Compliance: Ensure all activities meet strict internal and external audit standards, global internal controls, and customer-focused metrics/SLAs.
Stakeholder Communication: Participate in and lead weekly/monthly meetings with management and clients. Resolve escalations and provide timely, accurate MIS reporting.
Process Improvement: Actively identify errors, analyze workflow patterns, and utilize Six Sigma/Kaizen methodologies to reduce defects and improve overall process performance.
What We Are Looking For
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Eligibility: This position is open exclusively for DEI / Diversity candidates.
Education: B.Com, M.Com, or MBA in Finance/Accounting.
Experience: 8–10 years of overall experience within F&A operations in a BPO environment, with a strong focus on General Accounting and R2R processes.
Technical Expertise: Hands-on exposure to ERP systems like SAP or Oracle R12.
Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills in English.
Shift Flexibility: Must be fully comfortable working in a dedicated US Shift environment.
Good-to-Have Skills
Knowledge of Base workflow systems.
Familiarity or certifications in Six Sigma and Kaizen frameworks.
