Job Description (JD)
The role involves troubleshooting, supporting customer complaint resolution, maintaining quality records, and assisting in the implementation of corrective actions. It requires strong technical knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, testing instruments, electrical drawings, quality processes, troubleshooting, and customer complaint resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and supervise day-to-day FFD/PSU testing and inspection activities.
* Ensure testing is carried out as per approved specifications, procedures, and quality standards.
* Review and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and circuit schematics.
* Troubleshoot electrical/electronic issues identified during testing.
* Verify electrical and electronic parameters using appropriate measuring instruments.
* Supervise testing and inspection of electrical/electronic spare items.
* Identify recurring defects and conduct root-cause analysis.
* Support investigation and resolution of customer complaints.
* Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Service, and other concerned departments for technical issue resolution.
* Ensure implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
* Monitor quality parameters such as rejection, defects, PPM, and testing performance.
* Support continuous improvement and basic Six Sigma initiatives.
* Review testing reports, inspection records, and quality documentation.
* Guide and train junior testing engineers/technicians on testing procedures and safety practices.
* Maintain proper ERP-related records and reports.
* Ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements within the testing area.
