Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen Interior Designer who can understand customer requirements and convert them into functional, aesthetically appealing and practical modular kitchen designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand client requirements, preferences, budget and space constraints.
- Design customized modular kitchens and wardrobes as per client requirements.
- Prepare detailed 2D layouts, elevations and 3D designs.
- Prepare kitchen drawings, measurements, material specifications and design presentations.
- Coordinate with clients, sales teams, production teams and installation teams.
- Visit sites for measurements and understand site conditions where required.
- Suggest suitable materials, finishes, hardware, colours and accessories.
- Modify designs based on client feedback and ensure timely approvals.
- Prepare accurate design details for production and execution.
- Ensure designs are practical, technically feasible and aligned with company standards.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of modular kitchen design and space planning.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and preferably 3D designing software such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, KD Max or similar.
- Good understanding of kitchen materials, hardware, accessories and finishes.
- Strong visualization and creative design skills.
- Good communication and client-handling skills.
- Ability to take accurate site measurements and translate them into designs.
Preferred Candidate
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in modular kitchen/interior designing.
- Experience in modular kitchen, furniture or interior design companies preferred.
- Strong portfolio of modular kitchen designs.
- Comfortable coordinating with clients and execution teams.
