Role Description
We are hiring a Cryptocurrency Trader to support digital asset research, trade execution, and portfolio monitoring. This remote, Spain-based role focuses on Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other approved digital assets, with an emphasis on disciplined trading and risk management.
Trading uses company-provided capital and authorized accounts. Candidates are not required to invest personal funds, pay recruitment fees, or use personal trading accounts.
Responsibilities
Analyze cryptocurrency markets, liquidity, volatility, and trading opportunities.
Execute approved strategies within established position and risk limits.
Monitor portfolio exposure, trading costs, and performance.
Prepare market updates, trade recommendations, and performance reports.
Support portfolio rebalancing, scenario analysis, and accurate trading records.
Follow internal security procedures and escalate execution issues or risk-limit breaches.
Qualifications
Experience in cryptocurrency trading, investment research, or financial markets.
Strong understanding of order types, position sizing, liquidity, and risk management.
Familiarity with Bitcoin, Ethereum, stablecoins, and digital asset exchanges.
Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently and follow documented trading procedures.
Based in Spain and legally authorized to work in Spain.
Preferred Background
Experience with a trading firm, asset manager, fintech company, or digital asset business.
Familiarity with TradingView, DefiLlama, Dune, Excel, Python, or SQL.
Understanding of on-chain analytics, backtesting, and portfolio allocation.
Compensation
€75,000 - €105,000 gross per year, depending on experience and responsibilities.
