Role Description
As a Blockchain Venture Investment Specialist, you will research and evaluate blockchain startups, cryptocurrency projects, digital assets, and emerging Web3 investment opportunities. You will assess venture opportunities across the blockchain ecosystem, conduct market and project due diligence, analyze tokenomics and business models, and support investment research and portfolio strategy.
Responsibilities
• Research blockchain startups, cryptocurrency projects, Web3 companies, and emerging digital-asset opportunities
• Evaluate early-stage blockchain ventures based on technology, business models, market opportunity, team, token economics, and ecosystem potential
• Conduct investment research and due diligence on blockchain companies and digital assets
• Analyze tokenomics, valuation frameworks, funding structures, competitive landscapes, and market positioning
• Monitor venture funding activity, token launches, ecosystem developments, and emerging blockchain sectors
• Research opportunities across DeFi, infrastructure, Layer 1, Layer 2, stablecoins, tokenization, Web3 applications, and decentralized networks
• Track startup fundraising, strategic partnerships, product launches, and ecosystem growth
• Prepare investment memos, market research, company profiles, and opportunity assessments
• Identify emerging investment themes across blockchain and cryptocurrency markets
• Analyze portfolio companies and provide ongoing market and ecosystem intelligence
• Monitor macroeconomic, regulatory, and market developments affecting blockchain venture investments
• Collaborate with founders, entrepreneurs, researchers, investors, and blockchain ecosystem participants
• Support portfolio strategy and investment thesis development through structured research and data analysis
Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in venture capital, investment research, cryptocurrency, blockchain, private markets, or financial analysis
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, Web3, and digital-asset markets
• Knowledge of venture investing, startup evaluation, financial analysis, and due-diligence processes
• Familiarity with tokenomics, decentralized finance, Layer 1 and Layer 2 ecosystems, and blockchain infrastructure
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Ability to evaluate startup business models, competitive landscapes, market opportunities, and investment risks
• Excellent research, writing, presentation, and communication skills
• Strong interest in emerging technologies and blockchain innovation
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with international teams
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
• Experience with blockchain analytics, venture databases, financial modeling, or on-chain research is a plus

Compensation
