About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

Job Tittle: IT Executive
Shift: Rotational shift
Location Bangalore
About the company
Pixis (Leapus Technologies Pvt. Ltd.) is a next-generation marketing-AI platform that harnesses the targeting capabilities of social media and digital advertising platforms. It takes an end-to-end approach to the identification, creation, and optimisation of ads — collecting data, understanding target-group behaviour, creating the ad, and delivering the right content at the right time, so every customer receives uniquely relevant advertising on a one-to-one basis. Pixis works with brands such as Swiggy, Amazon, Rapido, HDFC Bank, TATA AIG, Yes Bank, GoAir, Livspace, and MPL Gaming, delivering an average upside of around 50% on CPL, CPI, CPC, and CPM, along with a significant improvement in acquired customer LTV.
Role summary
The IT Executive handles day-to-day IT support for employees, maintains the IT asset inventory, manages the office network, and assists the IT Manager with new IT projects and system rollouts. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of hands-on IT operations experience and a strong, practical grasp of IT infrastructure and best practices.
Scope
The role is based in Bangalore, India and supports the Bangalore office and India-based employees, with remote support extended to other Pixis group entities as needed. The IT Executive works closely with the People team on new-hire and exit processes and with vendors on hardware procurement and repairs.
Key responsibilities
Responsibilities are organised by area and are carried out under the direction of the IT Manager.
IT Support
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and access issues for employees on macOS, Windows, and mobile devices.
• Log and track tickets, resolve them within agreed timelines, and escalate to the IT Manager when needed.
• Set up laptops and accounts for new hires; recover devices and revoke access when employees exit.
• Maintain simple how-to guides and conduct IT orientation for new employees.
IT Asset Inventory
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all hardware assets — assignment, serial number, condition, warranty, and location.
• Coordinate laptop procurement, tagging, deployment, repairs, and secure disposal of old equipment.
• Track software licenses and remove unused licenses to control cost.
Network Management
• Manage and monitor the office network — firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi access points, and internet links.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues; make routine configuration changes as approved.
• Keep network documentation current and coordinate with ISP and building IT teams when required.
IT Projects & Systems
• Assist in the design and deployment of new IT systems and services — office setups, network upgrades, and tool rollouts.
• Assess vendors and test new hardware and software before company-wide rollout.
• Document setup steps and standards for the changes delivered.
Monitoring & Improvement
• Monitor the performance of IT systems and report issues, ticket trends, and costs to the IT Manager.
• Recommend improvements to IT infrastructure, tools, and processes. • Ensure endpoint security basics are in place — device management enrolment, patching, and antivirus/EDR coverage.
Vendor Coordination
• Liaise with hardware suppliers, repair centres, ISPs, and software vendors for quotes, orders, warranty claims, and renewals.
• Maintain vendor contact details and the renewal calendar.
Required qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience working in IT operations or IT support.
Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems.
Hands-on experience with office networking — firewalls, switches, and access points — including basic configuration and troubleshooting.
Working knowledge of Windows and macOS troubleshooting, and of Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 user administration.
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
Excellent IT skills and a strong ability to prioritise across tickets, projects, and walk-up requests.
A firm grasp of IT infrastructure and operations best practices.
Good communication skills — able to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical employees and leadership.
