Role Description The Jr Business Payment Analyst is a contract role, compensated at $32/hr on W2, in a hybrid work arrangement based in Jersey City, NJ with some work-from-home flexibility. This role focuses on supporting payment operations and financial processes, including reviewing transaction data, assisting with reconciliations, and ensuring timely and accurate recording of payments. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing payment trends, preparing reports for stakeholders, collaborating with finance and accounting teams, and resolving discrepancies in financial records. The analyst will also help maintain documentation, contribute to process improvements, and follow established controls and compliance standards. The role requires strong attention to detail, consistent communication with team members, and comfort working with financial systems and spreadsheets.
